@DUAL727 It's all about the intent in which you take it. For reasons unknown, there is plenty of evidence to support glutamine's roll in maintaining blood lymphocyte levels and repair of mucosal lining in the gut, possibly increasing absorption post workout. The fact is that plasma glutamine drops significantly after endurance efforts, and orally ingested glutamine does raise these levels quickly back to normal. In weightlifting, glutamine has shown to restore glycogen in absence of carbs.

I agree, glutamine is a waste of money. People are such gullible and simple-minded. They believe everything what is saying on fitness magazine.

You need to understand you do not need excess glutamine lol... We have so much in our body, on top of that most whey protein supplements have plenty of glutamine in them already. Go waste your money on it if you feel it necessary, I have talked to plenty of personal trainers including my own who all agree with me...
