During rains, trash and wastewater in Tijuana enter the river and flow to San Diego and utlimately into the ocean. This pollution impacts the public health, environment and economy on residents and ocean users in South San Diego County. WiLDCOAST is working to bring binational stakeholders into the decision making process as partners advocating for a healthy community. WiLDCOAST protects and preserves coastal ecosystems and wildlife by building grassroots support, conducting media campaigns, and establishing protected areas.
