@kinginsomnia It's because the general populace of idiots can't hear or identify beautiful music if it kicked them, and they equate speedy playing with talent, ignoring any musical knowledge or phrasing abilities....not that they would know what phrasing is LOL. that's why I and I'm sure many others are completely alone in their circle when it comes to the love of instrumental guitar playing. Some people just don't 'hear' it.
