Omega Boost - Zone 6

Classic PSone game with mecha design by Kawamori Shoji. Whilst this isn't a particularly difficult stage it does afford an opportunity to use the Viper Boost on a fleet of spaceships.

It's worth noting here that the Viper Boost weapon is very similar indeed to the V-Max system in Layzner.

most under-rated psx game. well this and rival schools.

It is kind of a rail game because enemies appear in waves which you have no control over. You have freedom of movement in many cases and can circle and strafe enemies, but the levels are presented to you in a specific way and you have no freedom to explore or experience the level in a different way.

Loved this game the day it came out, and I still play it, along with R-Type Delta and Einhander.
