Classic PSone game with mecha design by Kawamori Shoji. Whilst this isn't a particularly difficult stage it does afford an opportunity to use the Viper Boost on a fleet of spaceships.

It's worth noting here that the Viper Boost weapon is very similar indeed to the V-Max system in Layzner.

  • @blackmanxz I was thinking the exact same thing.

  • By the way, this game had a good motion motor, you can prove it when you used the viper boost.

  • never believed this game runned on PSX untill i played it myself. i was like "WOHOOOW, PSX, slow doooooooown babe, eeeeeeasy"

  • He's like a big... fucking... robot Sonic that shoots lasers everywhere.

  • @HatesOnU But you're right, this and Rival Schools are hella under-rated. Rivals Schools was the fcking bomb. We played that game TO DEATH! PSX was the greatest system of all-time. And I go back to Colecovision; I know my gaming. I'm a gaming aficionado...PSX had soooooo many great classics but it's the number of "sleeper" hits that has me putting it at number 1. Games like Armored Core or Brave Fencer Musashi weren't huge hits like FFVII or MGS but they were still great games worthy of purchase

  • @HatesOnU Shit, Tobal 2 is, perhaps, the greatest PSX game ever made and NOBODY knows about it...Then again, it never made it to the States. But real niggas who import know the deal. Chea.

  • i remember playing the demo to this shit......... wow

  • @madsli It is kind of a rail game because enemies appear in waves which you have no control over. You have freedom of movement in many cases and can circle and strafe enemies, but the levels are presented to you in a specific way and you have no freedom to explore or experience the level in a different way.

  • I remember playing this game, I was too young to understand it. My grandmother gifted it to me. A few weeks later after getting the game, I found an action figure of the mech you use and I bought it... too bad that I've lost it.

  • We need a sequel of this using GT5's engine.
