"During the shooting I think it is really important always to have your ears and your eyes open to the point of view and the ideas of the people who cooperate with you. But at the end I am the one who have to make a choice.

The main problem with wide angle lenses on medium format is that it reduces quality at the edges. What I can say is that with this new lens the problem is really reduced and the quality is more than acceptable in all the parts of the image. It is probably the best wide angle lens that I ever used on a medium format."

Back at his desk, Federico tries to get all the ideas that he had on the set together.

"Early in my workflow I try to find one picture that is the best one in composition, point of view and basic lights. If it's possible, I try to use only one image. If not, I try to find other shots that have the best image part of the picture concerning lights or details.

Using the new 28mm LS from Schneider Kreuznach I had no problem capturing my image in one shot."

I always kind of assumed the people who use medium format cameras for shoots just rented the gear on a per shoot basis.
