Wish I did, Mike...I have my own scatterbrained moments. Usually when I'm feeling defensive about my lack of knowledge on a topic I will just randomly ramble on aimlessly about it. Hmm...perhaps this explains my distaste for Sarah Palin?

Yeah, it's a very unflattering trait to be SO convinced you're right that you attempt to shout down anyone who dares to try to correct you. I still struggle with the urge to confront people in that situation - I admire your restraint!

Yeah it's easy to go overboard in that direction too. It can be hard to resist the "they don't want to hear this" impulse.

Great video man. You said a lot of truth in this. I remember in high school I would make that same mistake. Now days I am the complete opposite and I dumb myself down to the level that makes the person who I am speaking to feel so much more smarter than me.
because the little knowledge I have during a conversation with someone, always gets blocked out for the reason that I'm to afraid to give my own opinion. I think the problem I have now is that I'm to self conscious. I don't know...

Yeah it's hard to maintain a good balance between being yourself/contributing to a conversation and being respectful/deferring to others. I guess the people who are best to converse with are those who enjoy you being yourself.
