Derry City Airport Take Off

Take off on Ryanair flight from City of Derry Airport to London Stansted Friday 31 March 2006. Take off is towards the city with good views of Lough Foyle, Culmore, Muff, Inishowen, Inch and Lough Swilly and down the Foyle Estuary and up towards Gweedore and Errigal.

Sure is but it takes a turn left and then flies down across N.Ireland and over the Irish Sea. Direction of take off depends on which way the wind is blowing. Sometimes they take off in the Limavady direction.

@Danishdane84 - Throttles up because before take off ATC (example) will give clearance "fly runway headed maintain fl 11000 so at 2.50 the pilot has reached this altitude the ATC will then instruct the pilot to climb to a different flight level thus throttle up to reach the new altitude
