@tottfan1993 Knighted is not enough.....he is an man from another planet...although im dutch no one wil never come near the quality as Phil has...i know also a lot hate him,dont know why he is just the best that wil ever be,great sportsman but also a great personality...Barney wil be a good second....but heee there is only and wil be one "POWER"

His "trick" among others is: He stands as still apossible when he throws,like a statuette and only moves his arm.I never saw this in such an extremeform.Seems to give more control because he must concentrate more on his arm than the whole body.

@alexnzxVersion2 so is poker but do you class that as a sport. well i do. people always think that sport has to be physical poker and darts take amazingly high levels of concentration :D

I was lucky enough to play a game of darts against John Lowe (geez, f'kn years ago) when he came to Australia on a promotional tour. Someone asked him if darts was a sport. He asked the question back "Is Archery a sport? Is shooting a sport?"
That's why darts will always be a sport... Like archery we're trying to hit a target and win the game. No difference. Long live the sport that is darts!

A lot of people say Darts isn't a sport..Well put the hours in like Phil,James,Merv & Barney..it's not just a sport ..it's art !!
Only Darts tests utter concentration,a will of iron,total body control,excellent mathematical skills(!) and psycho domination of your opponent....Er well that sums up Phil.... !!!!
