My latest toy. Been resisting it for months and finally gave in! I always wanted a 335 and the Elitist series gives an enormous amount of quality! It plays quite a bit different than my Strat which is a good thing but I am still getting used to it! I am playing to a jam track that I got at Bluesjamtracks.com called Three Wise Men Blues. They are lots of fun!

  • you like a bank manager but you play a mean guitar.such a talent being able to play an instrument, keep up the good work

  • @kktubey LOL! I was a bank manager when I recorded this! Now an accountant! Thanks for the kind compliment!

  • Hmmmmm, this was a great demo. But I am stuck between the Sheraton 2 and the casino elitist. Does anyone have an opinion on which one they think is better quality?

  • @sepai40 Thanks so much! Tough choice between the Casino and the Sheraton. I have had the Sheraton and it was a great guitar! The Elitist will be better quality wise but the noise of the P-90s would heep me fom that one. However, I do prefer the tone of P-90s so if you can deal with the noise, the Casino would be a SWEET rig!! Good luck!

  • Very fine. Is the guitar vintage or reissue? It looks and sounds great.

  • Thanks! The guitar is new. The hype is that it is a high quality copy of a '63 ES 335 made in Japan. I guess I am buying the hype since it feels like the real deal!!

  • Sheraton sucks

  • I agree with IHIKML. I've got several Gibson 335's, including a stunning Custom Shop model in amber. My Elite/Elitist guitars are better playing and working instruments. Their necks are buttery and consistent, and I prefer my sunburst Elite '63 Dot reissue to the other Gibson 335's, including the Custom Shop model. The only thing you can argue that is not at the same level as the Gibsons are the pickups, and those you can change.

  • @tenorbanjoguy IMO the MiJ Epiphone Elite/ Elitist series is on par with Gibson Custom Shop guitars, and even the company that import Gibsons to my country agrees. My local guitartech, a pro guitarist, compared it to loads of Gibson ES335s, and the Epi won hands down. I've had, and have, both. Yesterday I got my 2002 Epiphone Elite '63 ES335, Vintage Sunburst, back from the guy who bought it from me 6 months ago:-) Man, I've missed it, but now it's back in my arms!!! Feels....right!

  • Great technique, great feel. Do you have a favorite source for backing tracks?

  • Great Job!!

  • Late respond but I have an Epiphone Elitist Les Paul, bought in 2004 and I agree with that it feels much... much better than the standard Epiphones.
