haha, i was JUST looking at your yahoo question! Yea it does improve coordination, but it won't help you that much in tennis, because; 1. you don't use the frame to hit the ball in the game and 2. the bounce isn't that sensitive to the angle of the face (so it can't teach you face angle control. If you want to do something to improve your game similiar to this, take a bunch of foam or cotton, or anything soft, and tape it on the face of your racquet...

then cut out something the diameter of a tennis ball right on the sweet spot of the racquet. Then try bouncing the ball on the face...that will teach you to hit with the sweet spot all the time. The more you practice doing that, the less you'll have to consciously try to hit the ball on the sweet spot during the game.
