Shell Eco-marathon Asia Tan Chong Meng on smarter sustainable mobility

What these young minds are doing is not very different from what we at Shell are also striving to do to meet the world's growing demand for energy, with mobility being one key part of this. We call this quest 'smarter mobility'.
Welcome again to the very first Shell Eco-marathon in Asia. I hope you enjoyed your pit tour and your engagement with the students. What a potent mixture - youth and ingenuity! And being able to see their dreams, from concept to conclusion, hopefully even championship, that must be exciting.
Shell has been challenging young people around the world to do this for some time, at our Eco-marathon events in Europe and the United States. This inaugural outing in Asia makes it now a truly global engagement with budding innovators from around the world.
