Snow is something I cnanot find on the web in Chinese Paintings unless it is old and brown.
Plum Blossom Tree in Snow.
And I dont know how to paint snow so..... this is done from a single picture for inspiration that had some snow on a single bough of a tree and.......... a Cockerel.

Alot of fun. I love the paper. I enjoy the way the pastel brown flares out the coloured paints.
Anyway, I hope it brings a smile.
I have lots to learn. I still havent seen anyone from Europe join the T.C.C. Forum. There simply are so few people in England into the Chinese Arts.
There is a Brush Painting Society but after writing to them about five times I simply give in. Brickwalls etc.
There's only one way to get things done around here. That's to do it yourself.

@dipchips Well, I get good response from Guanghwa in London Chinatown. But in general, there are few people in Europe who practice Chinese Arts. Despite that sf108 make it look like half the community have Chinese brushes up their butt, the facts are, it is a rare entity in England alone.

I have wonderful responses from across China and America and in general the people are very generous and wonderful to learn and hear from.

Its good that you also get a good response in Holland.

Practiced? Nope. No practice. Everything is either a first attempt or the number of multiples you see in this channel. I don't do practice. Originally it was supposed to be appalling to appeal to those better than I to post their work. All thats happened is, I have improved and begun to really enjoy it all. :o)
