I still have the Tape of this show.

As Diana continued to sing, she said "Help Me Somebody !"

Patti moved around & began to SLOWLY take center stage, entering from the left; Diana beckoned Patti with her hands to enter.

However, Patti still appeared to be reluctant; so Diana jumped to her right & Patti came out more. Diana then gave Patti the microphone.

Patti did her Signature grab & started singing.

Patti was not rude and Diana was not upset. if anything she looked relieved.

Hahaha Gotta love Patti Labelle.

She outsings people more than she realizes due to her huge voice. So powerful, it's ridiculous! I can remember seeing her perform with Mariah Carey, and during that one belt they had together, she literally muted Mariah haha.

She never seems to be a stage hog or anything though, it's just her voice won't allow anything but lol. Anyone who performs with her knows the risk of it, and should be prepared for the expected.
