@patmcnees Thank you for your lines! I used to live in the area and one of my greatest pleasures was to walk from Bethesda to Glen Echo park, following the trail and then the boulevard. Sometimes I was walking further, up to Cabin John Bridge. And many times I was returning along the chanel, down to Little Falls! I have wonderful memories from there. Thank you again!

This waltz is being held in the Bumper Car Pavilion at Glen Echo, which volunteers converted to a dance venue while the Spanish Ballroom was being renovated. Now two dances can be held at the same time -- one in the ballroom and one in the bumper car pavilion, and on a hot day the latter is not a bad choice. Winters, plastic sheets are put up around the outside.
