  • No need to make hello.c executable or to edit it using sudo. Also you could have just used i++ instead of i+=1.

    That example was not about to teach i++ or i+=1. Also there was no issue to make it executable or not. Thats simply an example.

  • @ankitpasi1 This just another panel. Right click on your default top panel and click Add new panel. Then Customize that panel to a transparent view Right clicking on that new panel.

  • @stchman It said i+=i, not i+=1, but he still could have gone i*=2. Other than that, great tutorial.

  • Note: For C++ users user g++ instead of gcc.
