  • Good Video, and helpful! I've always been embarred when we play blues at local open mic. Now I know! If you were to play 1/3/5 triads on a 1-4-5 pattern, would the 3rds be flatted? Minor chords?

  • you do not play minor chords

    you should play all 7th chords

    which are the 1 3 5 and flat 7 of each scale

    even tho the blues scale has a minor 3rd in it

  • Thank you, this helped alot. I had an improvisation class in the blues yesterday and found it quite difficult, but I realise now that it dont have to be hard to sound good and its really quite easy when you get to know the structure! Thanks again!!!
