Late Spring cultivation, ploughing discing and sowing Sweedes with a ridger drill. The Deutz Fahr shown was real heap of junk, Transmision blew up when discing that step hill!! Got a Case now, way better

  • Thanks for the reply Osty, we have hilly Land here in Ireland where I am but tend to direct cultivate with a rotovator if its too hilly.

  • Something that is getting more popular here as well.

  • Nice Film, thats an old plough though..no reversibles in NZ?

  • Yeah we have reversables, tend to find them a bit heavy on the steep ground though so 1 way ploughs tend to be more popular.

  • great plough bb85 ours lives on rocks nuffn else lasts had it 4 20 years only snaped one leg of it its a shame you cant buy them any more

  • was this where lord of the rings was filmed?

  • Great editing! (sorry if this is a stupid quistion as im no farmer) What do you grow?

  • I haven't seen that style of plowing around mid USA for many years because the topsoil is blown off by the winds. It used to be that we'd plow in the fall and be ready for spring which was a big mistake. Now it's just minimum tillage.

  • Land is excellent. No stoney soil like ireland.
