This is a lesson in the art of what not to use for BP milling... the Bullet Blender.. a window, an entire mirror, several DVDs, my foot, were all hit with shrapnel, and lots of smoke, then ash covering everything, ..

Try to NOT use a blender for the final stages of BP processing.

  • wow man someone up above is looking out for you, NEVER use a blender I remember this happen to a buddy of mine he was making some in a blender cause his ball mill stopped working I walked into the kitchen and asked his what he was making he replied black powder 5 mins later we hear an explosion in the kitchen he was making around 80 grams of it and it blew apart his countertop and his cabinets shrapnel was everywhere his kitchen window was blown out, it was bad I told him not to do it

  • just blend one thing at a time

  • well atleast now you know your smoke alarms work

  • This is why you use steel balls not trying to be sexually funny but that's what my friends use to grind the powders or you can roll them fine.

  • dude its dangerous to breath in monoxides !

  • never use blenders for black powder this happened to me 1 year ago mine was 100 grams though wasnt up close when it happened

  • lmfao damn that fuckingsucks

  • that sucks... but funny

  • wow ... you were lucky were you up close to the blender when it went off?

  • Why the hell would you blend a complete mix of BP -.-'

Blend the ingredients one at a time and mix in a cup, if you're absolutely too lazy to get a ball mill or do it in a mortar and pestle!
