@49giantsharks depends on what kind of a sound you're going for... it's educational from a purist standpoint to play it without any pedal at all (or to just play it on a harpsichord)... but from a performance standpoint a little bit here or there isn't a bad thing, in my opinion. If Bach had access to our modern pianos how might he play it?

By the way, - this instrument sounds like the Hindsberg, I grew up with. Same firm, only danish, - same light, clear, crisp tone, - probably same age.

Sounded like he was. Personally, and my teacher would agree, I am quite against using any pedal at all for baroque music originally for the harpsichord or clavier.
