I've been playing trumpet for about 6 years...Im looking for a mouthpiece that will provide an easier high range while still keeping an overall good tone. can you help me out?

@101TUBAMAN WTF ME TOO!

@NotSoNewJesus well, tonguing is all up to the musician. If you get a gold plated mouthpiece you may feel more control while tonguing but that wont make it faster. If you need to tongue fast try barely touching your tongue to the teeth with a light tap. If you need to tongue with a rapid bullet-like effect, you should learn to double or even triple tongue. There are plenty of videos explaining how to do double and triple tonguing. Good luck.

What kind of mouthpiece would enhance a players ability to tongue faster?

Oh, then i made a right choice except for the thicker rim, its rim is rounded and medium, my mouthpiece tends to move sometimes when i'm playing because of the water, it makes some kind of "lubrication" with my lips and the rim, maybe its because of the soft, rounded bite? would a sharp rim bite solve this?
Here on my country we play an instrument very similar to a Bugle, it requires A LOT of air and volume in high notes, you get tired very quickly, what kind of mouthpiece is recommendable for such type of instrument?

What you need for higher notes are a mouthpiece with a small rim diameter, a thick rim which will also give you endurance, and a shallow cup. Click on the link "stores ebay com/r-w" in the box to the right top. Once you get to my store search for Tuba mouthpieces. In that listing you will find the description for 9 different Yamaha Tuba mouthpieces. Also on the listings as a link "CLICK HERE FOR A PDF FILE THAT EXPLAINS ALL ASPECTS OF A MOUTHPIECE" Read about mouthpieces here, here you will get a good education about mouthpieces. After you have educated yourself well about mouthpieces, I think you can make a better informed decision,
