  • no, i would definitely agree. that's why the muppets are so wonderful to watch, because the performers are legitimately talented outside of puppetteering and voice work.

  • Call me crazy, but I think this version is very good and not limited to a puppet show.

  • This version is awesome, and I get the impression it is supposed to sound like Leon Redbone. I've looked everywhere and nobody's version sounds like this but Redbone's. In fact, Redbone's version is strikingly similar - just a fiddle instead of a saxophone...

  • No dislikes says it all.

  • @willieelmono If you mean singing it here, it's Floyd's performer, Jerry Nelson. He isn't singing it in Floyd's normal voice because it needed a deeper voice than what was in the 'Floyd range'. But Jerry Nelson excused his doing it by saying "He is me and me is he"

  • @im2ninja4you *Literally rolling on the floor right now laughing my ass off* Wow... You WOULD respond to my question. Hope they cancel that Warren shit from MTV... The monkey sucks.

  • @1990babyface

Obvious answer.... Warren the Ape... I mean, come, they play it on MTV...It has to suck.

  • who actually played bass for the muppets? that was a pretty awesome little solo. Great rendition of the tune too.

  • I dont know who is worser singing this: Floyd or Warren The Ape From MTV?

  • @willieelmono As far as I know, this song was written by Fats Waller.

  • Wonderful version of this song. I need to find out who this "really" is. At first I thought maybe Leon Redbone, but I'm not so sure...
