This is newfound footage of a 1914 Chaplin cartoon by Pat Sullivan, creator of Felix The Cat. There are 2 more minutes besides what I have posted

  • Were did you get that? That was amazing. Can´t you upload all the cartoon?

  • more to come, soon

  • sounds like thats the one, the pig has the kosher symbol on it when he turns white. and is being chased by a farmer. Is that the only episode?

  • What you have here is a 1940s dupe of the version I have...which was put out by Empire Films circa 1926 and running 3 minutes in length (a little less than half of the whole cartoon). 100 feet being a home-movie standard of course.

It was produced in 1919. Look for my version on a major DVD release next summer.

  • do you have any information on Percy Pig?

  • Do you mean the Kosher Adventures of? I can't seem to identify where it came from...looks like something that would have come from Paul Terry's studio or an admiring competitor.

  • Yes, when the pig turns white he has the Kosher symbol on him. He starts out being a road hog and drives his car off a cliff, then gets on a horse and then is chased by a farmer. Are there other episodes besides this and does anyone have them besides you?

  • did you notice the waiter playin it up like a real swishy fem!

  • I would like to watch the rest of the all cartoon! Chaplin... amazing as always.

  • @ starburstsourpower I'm sure the blurriness is due to the quality of the surviving print, not the quality of the cameras of the day. It's too bad so many of our silent films are lost or in bad condition.

  • At :24 : well, well, well! Or is it an impression of mine?! (Teeheehee) Thanks for posting this rarity!

  • some of the cameras weren't clear back in those days but there were some that were good quality.

  • thank you darkman1915 .

  • i belive its 1914 .

  • what year is this cartoon from ? .

  • that cop sucks hard lol :P
