@NBsaysHI usually on a field goal attempt or a kickoff, the football will be rotating end over end....in this case there was no rotation, hence the "knucleball" reference, which is a type of pitch in baseball where the ball seemingly floats through the air with no rotation....

Thanks a bunch madmike! I choke up every time I hear Jerry Allen's voice at the end. His emotions just seem to sum it all up for us Duck fans. Been cheering for Oregon since the 1970s... Went to the 1990 Freedom Bowl, 1995 Rose Bowl, 2002 Fiesta Bowl and even the 2002 Seattle Bowl. But I never thought I'd see this in my life time. GO DUCKS! GO DUCKS!!!!!!!
