I love this version just as much as the original, Chris sings it beautifully.

Honestly, to the people who are making a fuss about the original version vs this version, get over it. The original still exists, go and listen to that if you have such a problem with it being covered. Stop arguing and just appreciate the song for the beautiful thing it is.

@Nisshoku I understand your sentiments, I typically think Glee covers (well any covers in general) are ridiculous. But this cover is the only song I can tolerate from Glee and I really think Kurt put heart into this song. And background is just Glee's thing. So why can't you just listen to it and appreciate it for what it is?

Also, this version overemphasizes micro-tonal bending, the power of the "into the light of a dark black night" is ruined by the background vocals, actually the background vocals just ruin the whole fucking song.
