good effort - I think it would have helped if the vocalist hadn't been so wooden and lifeless...

@CornishStrayCat ...Nah, he rocks. He was just helping out, this was originally an audition tape for the drummer and bassist. He now plays Elvis in Million Dollar Quartet on Broadway.

Not seriously but it does take its toll after a while. I wouldn't do it on a really nice, expensive bass.

@franksaninocencio ...Yeah, I thought the same thing till I just did it. The bass in this vid is pretty cheap but hey're stronger than you think. I'd think twice if you have a really nice bass cuz it'll definitely get scuffed up a bit. I have a cheap bass that has seen well over 300 performances and it's still in one piece...but it HAS had a few repairs!
