http://thecomingdepression.net Russia Today interviews unemployed homeless people in a tent city a little bit off the beaten track of New York City as the city itself struggles with double-digit unemployment. So much for the "wall street savior," huh?

  • Ironic that we Amerikans have to rely on Russians for the news. Dont see this on the lamestream media. Did not think that it would happen in my lifetime.

  • The irony is that these people are more free than their citizens with car payments, mortgages, loans, debt, and TAXES. Sure, they have no medical, dental, etc. But necessity is the mother of invention and they do not have to answer to anyone. The unfortunately part is that the land they are living on is probably no longer "public" and owned by China. LOL.

When will Americans wake up and abandon this worthless, fascist, anti-"American"government.

  • Every news place is coming out to capitalize on these people for a hot storyline, but do any of them ever help these people? Do they ever get paid for appearing on camera? Do they obtain permission to film them? Are they doing anything to find homes for these people?

  • Superpower USA should look at their own backyard!!! This is shameful compared to Malaysia and Thailand which are only developing countries!!!

  • I have been to Malaysia and Thailand not long ago, and the job prospects, education system, living environment and every other basic aspect is better than this 'Superpower'. The only growing industries in USA are 'correction service industry' and 'doomsday industry (military)'

  • Hopefully Joe Biden is "out-of-work" starting in January, 2013.

  • 2:57 That young child's statement was very sad.

  • It happens. When I was a kid, along the river, lived a guy named "baitman." He was an old wino that lived under the bridge in a cardboard house he made. He sold bait worms for his beer & wine money. What I remember about him, he was far from unhappy. Baitman got so drunk one night he fell down a flight of concrete stairs and died. He died around 1980, so this concept of people living in tents isn't anything new.

  • i plan on going sky diving with a close hot friend of mine over an island, and..landing there...and staying in paradise there

  • omg
