Demi - *runs inside her house without closing the door knowing Joe was gonna follow her anyway*
Joe - Demi! *runs in after her*
Demi - Why the hell did you do that, Joe? *mad*
Joe - He spiked your drink!
Demi - That was like 4 months ago, he's changed!
Joe - No, Demi. I know how this works, he lied to you just to get in your pants!
Demi - Well, why do you care?
Joe - Cause I'm your best friend!
Demi - Well, if you really were my best friend you would support my choice!
Joe - Well, then I guess I'm not a normal best friend!
Demi - This is all your fault, tomorrow at school he's not even gonna wanna talk to me!
Joe - You can't be serious! You really think he's changed?
Demi - Yes, I really think he's changed!
Joe - *shakes his head* Demi, just listen to me. He doesn't want anything but your v-card! I-I heard him talk to his friends the other day and.... *looks down*
Demi - What, Joe. And what?!
Joe - It's a bet! He bet that he could get you in bed by next monday! *looks up at her*
Demi - No, I don't believe you! Your lying!!! *sits down on the couch*
Joe - I'm not lying! Demi, I'm telling the truth!! You have to believe me!
Demi - Well, I don't believe you, I'm gonna go back to the party now! *stands up to go out the door*
Joe - *blocks her way* There is no way in hell I'm letting you go back to that party and see him.
Demi - Will you stop acting like my big-brother for once??
Joe - I'm not your acting like your big-brother Demi!
Demi - Then stay out of my business!
Joe - I can't!
Demi - AND WHY THE HELL NOT??
Joe - *yells* Cause I love you!
Demi - I know that already, you've been telling me that ever since we were 10!
Joe - No, Demi. I didn't mean it like that! I meant like I'm in love with you!
Demi - *looks at him, shocked* Wh-what?
Joe - *looks down*
Demi - Y-you love me? Like in....
Joe - *whispers* Yes, like in, love of my life!
Demi - No, you don't. You're just saying that!
Joe - God damn it, Demi! You think I'm lying to you now?
Demi - Y-yes!
Joe - Why would I lie about something like that?
Demi - I-I, because!
Joe - Demi, who would always be there for me when I had a fight with my parents?
Demi - Who?
Joe - You! And who would stay up all night with me just to make sure that I didn't have nightmares after my dad died?
Demi - *whispers* Me.
Joe - Yea, You. Who stuck up for me when someone in middle school started a fake rumour about me dating Julia Stern the school nose picker?
Demi - *laughs lightly and whispers* Me.
Joe - You. And after Mandy cheated on me, who told me that I'm worth so much more then some low-life like her?
Demi - *whispers* Me
Joe - You! Who helped me though every thing else in life?
Demi - *whispers* Me.
Joe . You. You know, when I was 8 I would always cry myself to sleep for no reason, and then you moved in next door, I remember the day like it was yesterday, the day I fell in love with you. I knew you always thought of me as your big brother but I always saw you as the love of my life. I tried to get over you, I really did. All the girls I dated didn't mean anything to me, I only dated them to get over you, but everytime saw you, you made me fall more and more. I don't know what you did to me Demi but ever since I met you my life changed, and in a good why. And seeing what you and Cody were doing at the party tonight, it broke my heart. Like someone pulled it out of my chest and stabbed it with a knife and then stomped on it!
Demi - *speechless*
Joe - *sighs*I know you don't love me back that way, so just forget everything I said. I better get home. Do me a favour and please don't go back to that party, and stay away from Cody. I know you hate me now, but I only did it so you wouldn't get hurt, I care about you Demi, so much. Even more then my own life *walks out and closes the door*
