"formidable" definition: causing fear, dread, or apprehension. Why is eradication causing fear, dread, or apprehension?

"fortitude" definition: strength of mind that enables a person to encounter danger or bear pain or adversity with courage. Why should countries deploying tools at their disposal cause you to have strength of mind that enables a person to encounter danger or bear pain or adversity with courage?

Now try reading the same statement and replace the word "Polio" with "People".

Those who think immunization is for depopulation of third world countries should go and live there, so they will know first hand. These claims are also made by extremists in some of the third world countries. As long as we have idiots among us, we won't be able to solve the problems of our human race. It makes me sad to see some extremely ignorant individuals who think it is part of being intellectual and smart to question every good intention and good deeds. There arel over 1,000,000 Rotary members in 135 different countries. Rotarians are the community leaders who give their time, money and talent for world peace and understanding. There are a large number of student exchange, clean water and other programs. It hurts me to see some idiots question the integrity of good men and women.
