Thanks. Haven't seen this in AGES..
-
....as seen at the start of "The Running Man"
-
The Boogens aired on Turner Classic Movies this past early Saturday morning and it had a Paramount "blue mountain" logo at the beginning and the end of the film.
-
I think that taft may have dissolved, and given the logo to HB.
-
so what did this company do besides the boogens?
-
But that's Taft's logo to begin with.
-
Taft still owned H-B at the time this logo was used, hence the connection.
-
I see.
-
Shocked me. It seemed out of place for them to use it elswhere too

Wow, I didn't know Taft used the swirling star logo for a division other than H-B.

I saw this just ONCE! And STILL remember it to-day! I didn't think i was dreaming or hallucinating...It really DID (does?) exist!
So tell me...what about the history of the Swirling Star? When Taft owned Hanna-Barbera, the star was apparently a Taft property. Were there any other Taft-owned studios that used this? And when H-B split from Taft, was the star sold to H-B, or what?
Thanx fer the clip, m8..
