@bauhbjingles I'd like to add to this. The point of stockpiling is not just to make sure you don't run out of food, It's also to help smooth over troubling times. That stockpile isn't going to last forever, but it will be able to ease the transition you may end up making.
Survival isn't just about physical survival, but your mind, too. There's a big difference between eating bland stuff that you hate, and eating with a little bit of comfort or peace of mind. Spices help a lot.

Stocking up on food is a very wise thing to do. Like southernprepper says, it isn't waste, it's investment. As for your canned goods, they do have expiration dates. The food is still safe to eat literally years after that date, but the food begins tasting like the can. My suggestion is to build a stockpile, then start eating from it, replacing items as you go. Some food that will never expire if stored properly: Rice (keep dry), Honey (keep in dark area), Peanut Butter (keep sealed).

Bro, i follow ur videos and think ur awesome...but you have one problem; you don't own a Kel-Tec Sub-2000...it fires in 9mm and is semi-automatic...when you could be carrying 200 rounds of .223 for your AR-15, you could, on the other hand, carry 400 rounds of 9mm for your Sub-2000 Carbine...get one fast, while you can, dude...BTW, nice vid...

I see that you have condoments in your food storage, most people do not have that. Food is no good if you can't palate it.

@ForTheRepubl1c My best friend is very supportive of me, my woman... she raises her eyebrows and stuff, but i think she's used to my craziness, though sometimes she mocks me... I've been advancin' her family to do the same, for a moment i thought they were not listenin to me... but imagine my surprise when i saw a part of my storage full of beer... NO KIDDIN!!!

subscribed , I will be prepping shortly up here in canada , it's hard right now because I just moved in an appartment that my company put me in for free in a small mining town. Any suggestion? All my firearms are at home in a different province. I am in my appartment for 3 weeks then I go home for 1 week. I Don't even have food or supplies at home. Any suggestions? Should I stock a few things home? I'm also never in the same appartment.

THE GOVMENT SAYS THAT IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 7 DAYS OF FOOD IN YOUR HOUSE THAT YOU MIGHT WELL BE A TERRORIST OR TROUBLEMAKER OF SOME SORT. NICE TO KNOW THE GOVMENT IS BEING OPERATED BY SUCH FINE SMART PEOPLE HUH?

I want to say, Thank You, for your video. I sit here knowing that I have just spent our last ten dollars on what few groceries I could get and realizing that I have not been a good steward. I have been out of work since May due to a disability and my wife has just started a new job. I pray that I will be able to bring about a sustainable food supply before something drastic happens. Please keep the videos coming as I am learning so much!!!

@Dinstructor1970 Sorry to hear about your disability and wish I could do more for you. I would be glad to call you and talk about ways to prep on the cheap and just some low cost ways to prepare. If you can talk today send me a PM and your phone number and I would be happy to talk prepping and help you in anyway with questions or concerns. Take care David
