no, I know django did. jimi is my favourite, but he was still evolving (he was only 27), his craft ending TOO early. django died in his 40s

WOW. Jimmy and Django are similar to me in one way, which is they both pushed their guitars to the max. It's like they left no stone unturned. It might be comparing apples and oranges, but one thing is clear, they were both amazing. I hadn't heard of Django til I saw Les Paul talk about him in an interview. So of course I had to look him up. Amazing. What a brilliant man! Wow.
