hermit crab switching shells.

my daughter won a hermit crab at the carnival friday....after buying 8 dollars worth of tokens, she obtained him on the second to last try....she decided to name him erwin....i didn't know much about hermit crabs so i did some research on line...turns out these crabs aren't really hermits at all...actually they are very social creatures and it is suggested that you own more than one otherwise they will be sad and lonely....so today i ventured out to the pet store and purchased a girlfriend for erwin....her name is delilah and she had no problem with moving things around as she settled in right away....
