I dont know why we're talking about mainstream and underground. We should all be intelligent enough to acknowledge the fact that there's shitty music in both. Underground may have more good artists because they dont have bosses who have a million and one consumer studies telling them they need to talk more about certain subjects like money and women. But as you can see with Lupe when someone keeps it real in the mainstream the extra budget can mean even better songs.
