  • you need higher gearing.. i think.

  • We had the gearbox in Low Range because we were testing it with no brakes and limited space.

  • Hey how do you get a chain drive motor to work with a 4x4 axle drive system? Do you have to use a 90 degree gearbox or something? I need help figuring out what I am going to do for my 4x4 buggy project.

  • Hey Sorry, I know this is an old post but I had a couple questions if you ever have time. 1. Did you build the frame or is it a factory frame of some make? also, like someone else posted, how did you run power to the front wheels? shaft drive? under seat? and Last, I just wanted your opinion on something... from what I saw in the video, your steering is horrible, If you have the rear diff locked, you should make it selectable for better turning radius.. or have you corrected that some other way

  • thanks for the idea i too have a polaris 700 that sits most of the time sence i built up a 74 cj5 jeep bogger with a ford 302ci. i am planing on a tube 4x4 buggy this is just a smaller scale. where did you run the front drive shaft?bottom or under seat?

  • im planning to do something like this with a 440 Red Cat snowmobile engine. who'd you think would win in a race?? Your Polaris 700, or my Red Cat 440 inline twin??

  • i think a stripped the gears in my front differential and i know some people with a go kart frame set up for a belt drive...hmm sounds like fun

  • front end off of a scrambler? or some 4x4 that is amde for jumping by the looks of it

  • howd you get 4 wheel drive onto a go kart?

  • That things looks cool, and looks like it will go!

  • Is this a custom project or is there a kit out there?
