thats so cool, so im thinking that the hay bales are insulators? does it get really hot in the summer? does they hay rot? can you use cob or adobe to build it? enjoyed the video!
the only concern i see with this construction is the posts. i think the posts will eventually start to rot underground. that rot will eventually let moisture into the straw. though, i dont think it will happen fast. that structure should last for many years before it starts to degrade. maybe making the cement base with holes for the posts to sit in, out of the ground, would be longer lasting. i think i may try this type of construction for my chicken coop.
