Captain Malcom Reynolds explains the first rule of flying to his new co-pilot, River Tam.

You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take a boat in the air you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home."

Love this scene, Cried my eyes out at the end. Hard to believe this only lasted a season, at least it was a Damn good season and they made the best damn move that I have ever seen

i'm sure the other seasons of firefly would have been amazing, but I'm happy atleast this one exists, as well as the movie, because they will always be something special, I dunno if you could make 9 or 10 seasons as amazing as this, and I wouldn't ever want the quality of firefly to be compromised, every episode, every fucking line was perfect. Love this shot.

The thing about this scene that breaks my heart is to see the line up of wash's toy dinosaurs on the dashboard. It makes me so sad :(
