Great cover! I always thought that Joni had a lot of early rock in her and I could her the influence of Buddy Holly and Chuck Berry in her vocal delivery at times.
Too bad she never covered "Brown Eyed Handsome Man". It would have been a natural for her.

@ghanick She likes doing covers, and I think this is a pretty decent cover. I hadn't heard of it before I heard it on this album. :)

The one Joni tune that George W Bush had on his I-Pod. I guess that would have to rank this as the worse thing Joni's ever done, and she'd probably agree.

Vinnie is the MAN!
He absolutely kills this ending. Who else could take such a straight up-tempo rock groove and fade out with a blistering Naningo?
This is just another example of how playing with Joni meant pushing some pretty heavy musical boundaries.
