This video is dedicated to all the other equestrians to show our passion, strength, and hard work. It's specifically dedicated to all the members of the TRA on HL. I love you guys.

I know there are alot of these kinds of videos, but I never saw one with all disciplines with video clips. So I decided to make one. I know I don't have every single one, but I think it covers main western and english. It took me a very long time to make. Over five hours of putting up with my freezing screen and persnickety computer. This is the end result.
I hope you enjoy it. :]

Note: I do not own any of these clips. I used them from youtube. No copyright infringement intended. Here are the awesome users that own them.

  • Funny how you decided mention only one of the words I mentioned...

And oh, you are SO right. I'd give up my horse I've had since I was eight years old. I haven't even shown him before.. so how could I only want a blue ribbon? He's been on stall rest for nearly a year and a half, yet I work for six hours every day of the week just to keep him happy?

No, seriously. You make perfect sense. Keep trying with the chatspeak.. Let's try this exercise. Y.O.U. try it with me. YOU. Whoa!

  • this was a great video. i really loved how you included western riding to! most people dont think about it...! gooood jobbbb! :)

  • @erikacarr88 i am just stupid. so.

  • @doedel234 ive actually been riding for my whole life, i love horses and everyone knows spurs aren't even used for pain anymore since they're rounded.. not pointed.. how is any of this pain anyway? horses love to do what they do. whips and the spurs used *NOWADAYS* are for getting them to pay attention to the rider. experianced riders know when a horse is in pain, & if they actually care enough for their horse they stop. and how are bits abusive? are you stupid? or just looking for an arguement?

  • @erikacarr88 you can force a horse to do what ever you want by the thread of pain, negative reinforcement, positive punishment etc. horses learn to obey, because by causing them pain through spurs, bits, whips etc. so, horses get a state of mind called "learned helplessness" or some kind of "stockholm syndrom"

your way of arguing shows, that YOU have no real idea of what is going on in horses. but riders allways act the same.you have never seen a horse, trying to refuse, what he should do? hahaa

  • @doedel234 horse abuse..? how is it horse abuse if the horse CHOOSES to do all of this? you would think that an uncontrollable, unpredictable animal weighing close to a ton, would let you know if this hurts them, or if they don't like it.. don't speak about something you don't know, because you make yourself sound really stupid to people like us who actually know what we're talking about. if any of this hurt them, we wouldn't do it to the creatures we love.

  • i love this video, when i'm frustrated or upset i just watch this and it calms me down cuz i think of how I'M an equestrian, i can move a 1500 lb animal around a course, with only my 100 lb self. and i love how you included english saddleseat in here, after over 11 years of training in this division, since i was 6, most people don't even know about it! even tho it was just a brief couple seconds of a clip, i still appreciate ittt<3

  • Hey I have been posting a lot of these commont lately but i just want everyone to know that horsebackriding IS A SPORT. I know it looks like we try to abuse the horses but would you rather see your only child get hurt or killed or the horse get a little scab from the spur. I try not to use the crop or spur much unless they need it. I really can't help but post on the videos like this.

  • awful horse abuse...

  • Think about it ONE mistake can cause you ur LIFE!!!

  • what program did you use?

  • Thank you, this video is so inspiring - gave me goosebumps
