at NashCon, when asked about the amulet, Jensen said "let it go" so if he talked to the writers I think they told him it wasn't coming back.

There's a good possibility the amulet could return for season 7. Not saying it will but, I've been thinking about it and lets just say Sam did happen to pick it out of the trash can, if Cas is now the new God, wouldn't it come in handy for Sam and Dean if they need to track him down? Sure it didn't help last time but then again Cas is probably gonna be a little noobish being God so he might not know how or might not think to hide himself from the amulet. Idk lol, I'm half asleep and rambling.
