I had the opportunity and memorable experience to dancing to the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra at Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska in 1964. Of course, Tommy was no longer with them, but the sound and sensation of his music lives on.

this takes me right back to my grandmothers house. Makes me think of that old Newport house and all the fun times I had there. Sure does make me nostalgic, thanks for posting.

You're right. It's one of my favorite orchestras, and one of my favorite songs, but the arrangement doesn't quite fit. But that only shows that if you're a great innovator who takes alot of musical risks, they can't all work out. STILL better than half the stuff that comes out these days!
