A man tries to help a woman being attacked, but instead he is stabbed and left to die in the streets of New York. As Paul Johnson reports, over 20 people pass the dying man and do nothing to help. A look at the various cases in the U.S. and Canada where bystanders could have saved people but chose to look the other way.

ON VACATION A MAN WAS DROWNING; I HELPED!!!!: i'm not a part of that statistic! it was a crowded beach and everyone was saying to leave this guy alone, but i along with another guy performed CPR and he lived!!!!

it's a pity that we have to take the dream of seeing world peace to the grave with us...Humans are humans because they're capable of understanding universal moral ethics. But apparently our emotions are replaced by cruelty. how the FUCK can we hope for everything good when we pass somebody who's taking the last breaths and not do anything? or take a fucking picture for a human dying? you serious?
