  • 90 hours is a bit much. I tear them down everyday and they can be done in 40-50 hours.

  • I tear down these engines everyday.

  • 3:52 At MPI the biggest job and the dirtiest is fixing these engines. when ever a locomotive derails or an engine backfires it must be brought here to MPI to be gutted and repaired. when a block is gutted everything is removed and replaced. the engine rebuild process extends the life of the engine and makes it cleaner.
