@BladeEdgeRider 1) Detuned it myself. 2) I little stiff on the buttering tip (especially when compared to comparable rocker models), but still do'able with a lil' oomph (but I'm not all that well-practiced at buttering). 3) Torsional flex is noticeable and carves nice n' easy once you get the hang of riding.
This was my learning board, but has taken me leaps and bounds through good riding experience. I love it. I also love the 2010 Formula rocker as my brother has it (the rocker really flys!!)
@DJDeonPearson did you get any detune job on it? is it easy to butter? and is there a big noticeable difference in flex (especically torsional) with the nose and tail?
would you recommend this board because im a park rat but i love riding mountain too but i do alot of park and i can get this board at a good deal should i go for it?
@BladeEdgeRider I've only snowboard twice..but i feel pretty confident. As of now..i'm just riding. I dont know if I'm a carve, spin or trick yet. Started out the hard way..instead of doing the "S" down the hill..i went straight..was fun tho..already knew how to balance cuz I used to skateboard when I was a kid.
@saibaby74 How confident are you?, are you carve or spin and trick orientated?, you can try 1st then detune there if the mountain has a service shop, I have the Arbor Element and regret getting tip detune because when I crank up the G-force in icy conditions it washes out, but then I not a beginner either, I detune will likely save you a few edge catch falls.

I just bought this board and cant wait to try it out. I'm a beginner so do I have to de-tune the nose edge area and tail area
