You are standing on it all wrong. Your left foot is no where near the yellow line, and it also is way to far to the left. I doubt the product it recommended to you was right.

Dr. Scholl's Custom Orthotics are a lifesaver. I suffered with heel pain for a year and tried all kinds of insoles and shoes. I hesitated on the Dr. Scholl's because of the $50.00 price tag (get a $10.00 off coupon at Dr. Scholl's website) but I finally got them. They are so great. I can wear them in any low or medium heeled shoe that has a flat or removable insole. Sandals with a removable insole can accommodate them too. My heel pain disappeared within a couple of weeks and stayed gone.

Would it affect the results if you wore socks? 'Cause if everyone who uses this thing goes barefoot like that, they could be sharing foot fungus in no time. I don't know how long that crud can live on a surface, but in busier markets there might not be that much time between one person and the next.
