That's what I meant about them. Every time those celebrities or actors get into politics, they acted out like they are really in the movies just to gain fame and notoriety! They are also hypocrites like you've said! Seriously, they should keep their view to themselves and go back to making movies and music rather than letting themselves out into politics!

I just saw a news about "first lady" Michelle Obama attending an Oscar award ceremony. She must have been proud getting attention to all the people out there in Los Angeles. Then she tells the press that "Separation of Hollywood and State is simply impossible". That's the problem with the Obamas; they're treated like royals/celebrities, hangs out with celebrities, and gets cozy with leftist leaders like Hugo Chavez. When will they wake up and realize what is going on with this government?

You're right, but this kind of political influence by Hollywood celebs and vice versa is wrong and stupid! Just because people or fans watched movies and listen to songs does not mean that they wanted to vote on their candidates based on what their favorite celebrities represents to! Hollywood should keep their hands off of politics and concentrate on entertainment!

To stop it you just have to spread common sense ideas anyway you can. On the internet, or buy books / magazines, watch some Milton Friedman interviews. etc.

Because of this, I'll never watch any movies or listen to music made by left-leaning celebrities. The idea of Schwarzenegger being California's governor (until he became a joke) and Barack and Michelle Obama being treated like celebrities (because of the peoples' likeness to his posture, skin tone, etc.) sickens me and makes me feel ashamed of being an American citizen.

Those Hollywood celebrities should be in their own studios making movies and music, not playing politics and acting like they owned the government! In California, we have Arnold "Nazi" Schwarzenegger running as governor until he became the worst governor we ever had. Therefore, celebrities should stay out from putting their influence on our government! This is the United States of America, not the United States of Hollywoodia!
