Here's a great ALBANIAN song that brings you in the mood to enjoy life and everything that surrounds you.

... accompanied by pictures of Korca, Voskopoja, Berati, and a very interesting painting of Medieval Albania.

Enjoy!

  • Biticka is a town around Devolli/Korca... Tzevdet... is a Pakistani-Albanian name for a guy lol "Xhevdet" or "Xhevo" ;)

  • Could you translate what the lyrics say? This amazing 25/8 rythm! I know the song, I am from Greece, they played in a festival somewhere in Epirus and I have the recording, it's so nice. Please, tell me about the lyrics!

  • In the middle of Biticka, a clarinet is playing.

Opo, Tzevdet is playing and he's lifting up our morale.

He gathers us in feasts, weddings, and festivals.

Apo, together we sing and together we dance.

The Bitinian son (Tzevdet) protects the folklore like the apple of his eye (by keeping it alive of course).

  • sorry about the resolution... the pics were amazing

however, the song is the purpose :)
