@jeremylew416 Almost every kid before the mid 90's has had alcoholic beverages on occasion from 10 or 12 and upwards without any lasting problems or measurable effects. The generation in my country that grew up in the time of age-prohibition have more drug and alcohol related problems then any generation before them.
the "we forbid it" culture is wrong with the witch-hunt on substances for minors. Most will get them anyway if they want. Why not in a accepted controlled environment ?
