Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper on WAMU's Bluegrass Country

Michael Cleveland and Flamekeeper visited the WAMU 88.5 studios for a taping of Bluegrass Country's "The Katy Daley Show." The group is nominated in six categories for the 2009 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards which will take place in Nashville, TN October 1st.

A couple of weeks ago me and a couple of my buddies got to see these guys up close. The came to my area in Georgia, and we got to watch them practicing for a show they were going to do that night. They played for a good 2 1/2 hours, with only 5 or 6 people in the whole room watching all of this. We sat about 10 feet from them, listening, asking a lot of dumb questions, and just enjoying the heck out of it all. Biggest treat of my bluegrass life.
