  • Requesting the piano melody in the very beginning

  • @Kollator I don't have the piano melody you are requesting. this is the way I found the movie online and it is the only version I have. My apologies

  • Thankyou so much for posting this, great to be able to find the original 1925 version! much prefer it to the 1942 re-release.

  • @rocknrollfanatic96 I think it's just the ignorance of a lot people. If a film doesn't have sex or violence, it's considered to be "crap".

  • when poor he is ridiculed, when rich adored, yet they look at this childishly ,today this stratification is deprecated because of the known fact that root cause of this difference is faulty society

  • Thanks for posting, I watched this for my Film History class and I had seen most of it prior but Man, Absolutely genius, not just cause its funny, physical comedy, lighting, effects, camera placement. Chaplin was a master film maker. It shows films are about what you see, not what the actors say. Some of the best stories ever told are old silent films that relied on acting rather than expositional dialogue. I am glad to see movies like The Artist made that pays homage to the past in cinema.

  • 1:01:16 the greatest thing in the world

  • thanks man ... i never thought that these kind of films are on youtube :D

  • Far and away the most hilarious, tragic, and emotionally compelling film ever created. This is the standard by which all films are derived or judged. Charlie Chaplin and Humphrey Bogart divide the world between them; there is no third.

  • I also must say, really a great movie. Thanks

  • great movie. love the part when he cooks and eats the shoe

  • @Reggy078 I agree
