For hundreds of years, killing lions was a symbol of bravery and a way to protect livestock for the Maasai of Chyulu, Kenya. Today, the Maasai celebrate the preservation of lions rather than the killing, thanks to the Predator Compensation Fund.

The problem is with these sleazy Jews disguised as white folks. Masai don't need money to solve their problem. They co existed with lions for thousands of years. And I am from Somalia not far from where these people live. If these people really cared about lions they would start with their local zoo first. @VCthaGOATdunker Europeans drove lions to extinction thousands of years ago in Europe. Lions used to be much more successful than humans, of course they found their way out of Africa, so.. why is it, you think, that they're only in Africa now?

The Maasai I've talked to say they never actually receive these payments. They do like the idea and agree that they shouldn't kill lions anymore, but most just have to absorb the loss, akin to losing a month's worth of rent.
